Je suis né à Anvers en 1952.  Ma vie professionnelle orientée vers le monde du dessin technique ne m’ a laissé que peu de temps pour m’exprimer dans le domaine artistique.  C’est donc une fois pensionné que je me suis senti plus libre et me suis lancé en 2014 dans l’aquarelle.
Elle est pour moi source de satisfaction et d’équilibre, tout en étant presque une forme de thérapie.
Je m’inspire des grands aquarellistes tout en appliquant les techniques de l’aquarelle pure.
J’aborde tous les sujets en y apportant ma sensibilité personnelle.

I was born in Antwerp in 1952.  Since my childhood I always loved drawing.   Now I am retired and my wife suggested to pick up again the skills I forgot about.  I started in September 2014 by making watercolours as an autodidact.    The transparency of watercolour always attracted me.  Painting watercolours gives me so much pleasure I forget about the worries of getting older.  I am inspired by the great watercolour artists only using the pure watercolour techniques.
Now I am trying to find my own style so I can express myself at the most possible free manner.
